Our winter wine club shipment includes three different premium offerings from Lailey and Stonebridge (2 bottles each = six total).
We will ship this package immediately and our Club Manager will contact you to discuss other options and adjust your membership to your preferences if you desire.
First, is our best selling 2021 Stonebridge Brut Premier. This wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown and hand harvested from our Stonebridge Estate vineyard in Niagara on the Lake.
“..wild fermented and a small portion of the wine spent four months in French oak to add complexity and texture. It’s a nifty charmat with a vigorous bubble in the glass to go with pear, citrus, lemon curd, bright apple, and subtle toasty notes. The toasty/flinty accents are amplified on the palate and integrate well with the pear/apple fruits, lemon zest and vibrant, bubbly finish. A delightful sparkling wine”

We had to also include our very popular 2020 Stonebridge Cabernet Sauvignon. It is selling quick and we had to get it in to the hands of our premium members who may not have tried it yet. Please don't take too long to re-order, this terrific Cab from the 'epic' 2020 vintage won't last long.
“This cabernet sauvignon shows much like the Reserve if just a notch or two less concentrated and oak protected. Acids are sensed to be higher and accessibility sooner though waiting another year for the grippy tannins to resolve would be recommended. There is a crunchy and toothsome quality which puts this quite close to if in different weight and light when compared to the Reserve. The value here is clearly better. Drink 2025-2029.”

Finally, avoiding a Stonebridge "sweep" this shipement, we had to include our 2022 Sur Lie Chardonnay from the Lailey vineyard. A departure from our typical want of barrel aging, we opted to go "unoaked" with this Chardonnay. Clean, crisp, and wide ranging application from canapés to the dinner table.
“From old vines planted near the Niagara River gorge in the 70s, this is an unoaked chardonnay with impressive character and balance. The nose offers considerable ripe pear/peach fruit with touches of hazelnut and light leesy toast. It is medium bodied, bright and fleshy with just enough acidity to hold the exuberant fruit. The focus and length are excellent. Tasted March 2024”
